This assignment is part of a long-term strategy in collaboration with the Ministry of Health to support the training and capacity building of staff. This will assist with the setting up of a counselling and psychosocial support program where the clients can get continuous appropriate assistance and support in a conducive environment.

It will lead to much needed professional development and capacity building support to mental health workers to effectively deliver psychosocial support services.

Specific assignment objectives are:

  • To educate the staff on psychosocial therapies.
  • To develop professional skills of staff and provide mentoring and supervision of trained staff.
