The Program Coordinator plays a key role in providing day to day operation support to asylum seekers, through the provision of income support, access to general health care services and other supports.

To be successful you will need an understanding of the services required for refugee and asylum seekers as well as highly developed program management, casework and assessment skills. Ideally, you will have tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Law or a Human Services discipline equivalent.

Working in a sensitive and political environment, you will need to display impartiality, sensitivity and discretion. We would also expect you to have high level skills in representing client needs through liaison, negotiation and relationship building.
