ACON is a health promotion organisation based in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) community, with a central focus on HIV. ACON has built on its history as a HIV/AIDS organisation by applying our skills in health promotion, advocacy and in the provision of care and support services to focus on a broader range of health issues for our communities.
This is an opportunity for a senior executive with high level leadership qualities and proven health promotion skills and experience to make a difference in the LGBTI community.
You will lead innovative community health programs across a wide portfolio that includes issues of social inclusion, alcohol and other drugs, mental health, ageing and domestic and family violence as well as having oversight of ACON’s rural and regional programs across NSW.
The successful candidate will drive a culture of community engagement, high performance and exceptional quality.
This is a full time position (38 hours/week) based in Surry Hills offered on a fixed-term contract for up to three years.
