Rosies is a Brisbane-based homelessness service that has operated for 36 years. It provides connection and community through street outreach services at 14 Branches in Queensland with a significant presence in and around Brisbane.
The HeartWorks program provides necessary support for people who experience social and economic exclusion to be ‘fast-tracked’ into meaningful employment. HeartWorks engages with Brisbane’s homeless community to recruit potential participants, and provide support, training and a pathway to employment.
Following successful completion, participants will be linked into pledged jobs by employer partners in the construction, transport and logistics industries.
The Employment Mentor will be responsible for providing tailored services to improve work-readiness of disadvantaged jobseekers, and engaging with employers to identify job opportunities to support these jobseekers transition successfully into employment.
This is a full-time contract role.
