About the role:

The Learning and Development Specialist will work closely with Redkite leaders, to identify learning & development opportunities applicable to individuals and teams, driving personal professional development and capability growth within Redkite.

The role is responsible for supporting managers to identify their team members’ professional development requirements, supporting managers to implement that development and report on organisational capability growth. This encompasses responsibly for an organisation wide learning and development calendar, sourcing innovative cost-effective learning & development opportunities, overseeing new hire induction to ensure timely learning, identifying leadership development opportunities under a coordinated leadership development program and conducting small group facilitation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs that align with Redkite's goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with senior managers to identify training needs for their team members and create effective learning solutions
  • Design and develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, and e-learning modules
  • Manage the new hire learning journey for first 6 months, refining e-learning suite for effectiveness and ease
  • Deliver training sessions to employees (or source third party delivery) and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers and partners and source pro-bono training opportunities
  • Be the performance management system champion, supporting leaders to identify OKRs and continuously coach and support team members for performance
  • Engage Redkiters with learning and development offerings through newsletters and various information channels
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or a training related field
  • 3+ years of experience in learning and development 
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Experience with e-learning development tools and learning management systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong systems skills
  • Experience in, or desire to grow capability in performance management, specifically OKRs and supporting leaders to coach for performance
