Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place (MMIGP) is a strong, proud, culturally connected and self-determined Aboriginal Community in the Eastern Metropolitan Region (EMR). Our purpose is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for people to connect with culture, learn new skills and contribute to community health and wellbeing.
The Operations Manager assists the CEO in managing the organisation by overseeing MMIGP’s operational management, financial management, organisational and charity reporting, servicing the Board, human resource management, internal communications, IT systems and database, legal compliance and organisational policy, strategic planning and general administration.
To be successful in this role you will have a strong understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal community and have experience in a similar community based NFP role. You will be a strong team player, who can work closely with the CEO and have exceptional interpersonal skills. You’ll be able to make sound and timely decisions, be able to communicate and influence at all levels and be an effective problem solver.
