About the role

The Commercial and Community Insights Lead plays a pivotal role in leading iterative, prototype approaches to identifying testing and proving strategic growth opportunities that deliver blended value. This role will draw heavily on data and insights, as well as research, frameworks and modelling, to support commercial strategy.

Your duties include:

  • Leading the development of cohealth's surplus-generating and non-government funding activities
  • Identifying, scoping, and developing desirable, feasible and viable business models that develop sustainable surplus for reinvestment across cohealth
  • Lead the study, analysis, and interpretation of internal and external data sets (including but not limited to financial, operational, impact, quality, population, market, etc.) to inform strategy and decision making and positions cohealth for growth.
  • Develop medium term business forecasts, actionable insights and recommendations that incorporate the organisation's strategy and industry trends and help to drive performance

Our ideal candidate:

  • Qualification in business administration, finance, accounting, health economics or similar (health care background is highly desirable)
  • Significant background and experience in financial, commercial and impact analysis (MBA or equivalent will be highly regarded)
  • Proof of qualification to be sighted
  • Have an ability to analyse and synthesise complex and/or large quantities of information
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Statutory Declaration, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses). Additionally, some roles will also require current AHPRA registration and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

Roles that are determined to be Risk Category A or B [staff that have direct and/or indirect contact with body substances and are at higher risk of occupational exposure to infections] will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza prior to commencement [A] or within 12 weeks of commencement [B]. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
