CARERS VICTORIA 

Carers Victoria is a leading not-for-profit organisation, working to make sure that the almost 1 million unpaid carers across the state are understood, recognised and supported.  We do this by providing information, advice and respite services to carers; by hosting education sessions and events to support them in their role; by gathering and analysing data and producing reports about carers and what they need; and by raising broad awareness of carers across the whole community. We are in a significant period of change, looking at how we can reach and support even more carers through innovative models, systems and thinking.

THE POSITION 

Carers Victoria is seeking an energetic, results driven Strategic Partnerships Consultant to help improve the lives of Victoria’s unpaid carers through partnerships with corporate and philanthropic organisations alongside other strategies that extend its reach and diversify its revenue base.

The core responsibilities of the role include:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations aligned with organisational goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partner and our staff.
• Account management of existing partnerships.
• Assist in developing strategies to target priority organisations.
• Expand and maintain our partnership database.
• Provide market research and performance reports.

THE PERSON 

This exciting new opportunity will suit a self-motivated individual who wants to make a difference.

To be successful in this role, you would have:

• Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Experience and comfortable with cold calling and lead generation.
• Proven expertise in sales, business development, and/or account management.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship management skills.
• Skills in market analysis, budgeting, and strong administration.
• Ability to attend in-person meetings and events primarily in Melbourne, with some potential for regional travel (Please note that this is a field base sales role).

• Fixed term full time contract until 27 June 2025
• $98,500 gross + super + not-for-profit salary packaging available
• Conveniently located office in Melbourne CBD, with excellent hybrid working arrangements
