We’re on the lookout for a standout Business Development Manager.

You’ll get to play a critical role in expanding our market presence and acquiring new customers, for our impactful product. Together we will accelerate the impact of Brenna.

What might your day look like?

As our Business Development manager, your days will be varied and full.

Although Lead Generation, Product Demonstrations and Conference Days will be a key focus, you will have a variety of responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Generating leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Qualifying leads to ensure alignment with the target customer profile and prioritise high-potential opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospects for our product.

Product Demonstrations and Presentations:

  • Conducting discovery calls, product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, exploring their circumstances and challenges and then showcasing the features, functionalities, and benefits of the SaaS product.
  • Tailoring presentations to address the specific needs and concerns of each prospect, highlighting how the product can solve their unique challenges.

Attend Conferences and Industry Events:

  • Attending Industry Conferences in Australian capital cities and other industry events.
  • Preparing for conferences and work at our exhibition booth.

Market Research and Analysis for the aged care industry in Australia:

  • Conducting market research and compiling data insights.
  • Analysing competitors, identifying market trends, and assessing potential opportunities for our product.
  • Staying updated with regulatory changes and industry standards.
  • Working with our Integration Partners to provide meaningful outcomes for our mutual clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, including executives, facility managers, administrators, and IT professionals.
  • Understanding clients' business objectives, challenges, and pain points, and positioning our product as a solution that adds value and addresses their needs.
  • Growing to become a trusted advisor to clients, providing support and guidance on how they can leverage the SaaS product to achieve their goals.

Sales Negotiation and Closing:

  • Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Overcoming objections and addressing concerns raised by prospects during the sales process.
  • Closing sales and achieving revenue targets, while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborating with the CEO and our product development team and customer success team.
  • Providing feedback from clients to inform product enhancements and improvements.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitoring and track sales performance against targets, providing regular updates to management.
  • Analysing sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimise sales strategies.
  • Preparing and presenting comprehensive reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.

As a member of a small team you will get to be involved in other aspects of the business at times. We have a collaborative and supportive culture.

What will you bring?

Your experience and skills:

  • Proven experience and success in business-to-business sales or business development role.
  • Demonstrable experience in lead generation and product demonstrations, ideally, software products.
  • Experienced with Customer Relationship Management systems (ideally, Go High Level).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel for conferences, events and for client meetings.

How will you work?

We are a small team that gets to enjoy working remotely from home for the majority of our work.

We do, however, recognise the value of face-to-face connection, with our team members and our customer base.

On occasion, we will work together at a co-working space in Sydney or Melbourne (whichever is your closest city). You will also be attending conferences and meetings in person with our customers to give you the opportunity to make those meaningful connections.

We would like you to be based near an Australian city to support with ease of travel, when required.
