the role

This critical role aligns with and responsible for the delivery of Beyond Blue’s Supporting strategic goal so that more people access support earlier.

The Small Business Engagement Senior Adviser supports the Services Group's play a crucial role in equipping the small business community to promote positive mental health and prevent mental ill-health.

The role will work closely with the Early Intervention team to deliver the New Access for Small Business Owners (NASBO) program by developing and maintaining relationships with key small business stakeholders to empower and build the capability of the small business sector to take proactive, preventative and early steps to support mental health.

You will have extensive experience working in a service delivery/management role within the small business sector. Your expertise in small business or ownership of a small business and extensive knowledge and/or work/lived experience in mental health, workplace mental health and /or work health and safety will be underpinned by your strong negotiation and partnership management skills. Alternatively your tertiary qualifications in public health, health promotion or social sciences will also be considered.
