The Role - Partnerships Manager

Join the team at The Family Co. as a Partnerships Manager, where you'll step into a pivotal role during their CEO's maternity leave, focusing on nurturing and developing corporate partnerships and philanthropic support to ensure their financial stability.

In this capacity, you will dually report and work closely with the interim CEO, and the Board to strategize, secure and implement impactful partnerships. You will be tasked with retaining existing fundraising partnerships where possible, whilst proactively seeking opportunities for value alignment with new potential philanthropic trusts, corporate partnerships and fee-for-service relationships.

The Family Co. have plans for continued growth to in turn impact more people. To achieve this, you will play a key part in helping them diversify their income by recognising opportunities for larger value, multi-year relationships across a wider geographical area. You will use your entrepreneurial and creative thinking skills to be strategic about this.

As Partnerships Manager, you will supervise a part-time Event Coordinator who looks after the finer details and logistics of the annual fundraising events calendar.

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on strategic initiatives to increase corporate partnerships, fee for service income and philanthropic support.
  • Nurture and retain existing stakeholder relationships
  • Identify and develop ethically aligned partnerships, sponsorship and fee for service opportunities on a local, state and national level
  • Collaborate closely with the Board, interim CEO and Operations Manager to drive non-government income growth and stability.
  • Supervise and oversee the Event Coordinator and the fundraising events calendar
  • Prepare impact reports for stakeholders on partner activity
  • Prepare detailed and relevant reports for the Board on income activities and pipeline

Your Skills and Attributes

  • Demonstrated success in a similar role in the NFP sector or experience working closely with the Community Services Sector will be crucial to hitting the ground running for this contract
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a business development pipeline and activity levels in a target-driven role
  • Demonstrated success in securing and developing strategic corporate partnerships 
  • Ability to align an organisation's values with creative impactful opportunities or partnerships
  • Experience communicating and influencing Executive level decision-makers
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven whilst creating meaningful team relationships
