Through Care, Prevention and Advocacy programs, we fight for their right to be safe, so their future is strong.

We also support Dolly’s Dream to help change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will play a key role in the providing data to drive effective revenue-generating programs and campaigns and to deepen our understanding of supporter behaviour to maximise supporter life-time value.

This role is a full-time, 2-year contract formally based in South Melbourne. We promote flexible working arrangements, emphasising that work remains the primary focus, tailored to individual needs, role requirements, and the commitment to high-quality work delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Front-end management of our fundraising supporter relationship management database (Raiser’s Edge) and campaign data requirements.
  • Translating supporter analytics into actionable insights to optimise supporter engagement.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to foster a data-driven approach to fundraising decision-making through innovation and capacity development.
  • Developing robust data governance and management protocols to guarantee the integrity, security, compliance, acquisition, and storage of data.
  • Leading the ‘test and learn’ strategy for our fundraising and marketing communications programs to derive actionable insights to inform long-term modelling and day-to-day campaign learnings.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a data lover who understands the power of data and insights to drive fundraising success, so we can generate the resources we need to help drive positive change for children and young people.

You are a CRM expert and are comfortable using data visualisation and statistical analysis tools and working collaboratively with a fundraising and marketing team to support their work.

The perfect you will have:

  • Commercial mindset and an analytical thinker.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coach and mentor colleagues in the best practice use of the database.
  • Strong knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce or D365 applications and features including customisation and management.
  • Strong experience in data import, export, migration, system integrations, and automation.
  • Strong competency in mapping out business requirements, business processes and reporting requirements to deliver strategic solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technical developers, IT teams, project managers and systems users.
  • Ability to create models of income and expenditure and develop scenario analysis to drive decision-making.
