Wellbeing & Social Inclusion Worker

Sacred Heart Mission

Your future workplace

Sacred Heart Mission is a community of dedicated people working together to end homelessness and disadvantage. Our strength lies in our shared purpose and values. We welcome individuality and support each other to bring our best and whole selves to the work we do each day.

Join us in making a meaningful difference in a fun and friendly organisation with a big heart.

Your new role

Our Bethlehem Community Program offers a needs-based support response for vulnerable women in the community. Our clients are often facing compounding life difficulties such as homelessness, social exclusion, and complex heath issues thus require holistic and individualised assessment to target their specific individual needs.

Support can look like providing nutritious meals, stable long-term accommodation and laundry services. The Wellbeing and Social Inclusion Worker has the important role of developing tailored plans for each client to improve social engagement, self-confidence and overall wellbeing. This entails facilitating group sessions, assessing individual goals, and collaborating within the team and externally to facilitate access to a holistic range of supports.

The role is 15.2 hours per week worked across two days.

You can look forward to

  • Generous salary packaging.
  • Portable long service leave.
  • Access to in-house training.
  • Working alongside a small, committed and supportive team where every day there is something to celebrate.
  • Bringing your own style and skills to enhance the lives of others.
  • Being part of an inclusive organisation where diversity is valued as a key strength that supports our work.
