About the Role

  • Location: Sydney (open to other locations)
  • Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week, 5 days
  • Status: Fixed term contract for 12 months

Position Purpose

The Member Services Coordinator will manage day-to-day queries from members and prospective members. The Coordinator will also support event management, communications, membership growth and retention campaigns and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Member Support:

  • Respond to membership related queries received by email, phone or via our websites in a professional and timely manner. Queries will relate to new enquiries, member application process, renewals, benefits, specific information requests or general assistance.
  • Support the processing of new applications and renewals.
  • Assist new members in the onboarding process.
  • Assist the membership team in acquisition campaigns to expand our membership program.
  • Collect member feedback and insights to help improve member services and report on member engagement and satisfaction.
  • Resolve login, website and technical issues reported by members in a timely manner. 

Data entry and reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records in the organisation's CRM, ensuring data integrity.
  • Support the Director of Member Services & Marketing and the Membership Services Officer with preparation of reports and meeting notes.
  • Follow up and action outstanding payments in liaison with Membership Services Officer and accounts team.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administration, data entry and office support to the wider Member Services and Marketing team where required.
  • Assist with events, webinars and training as required.
  • Prepare webinar recordings for website, including editing, captioning and drafting content (training will be provided).
  • Other duties, as required.

 Desired Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to organise and self-manage, including effective organisation and time management.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience in an office environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate in writing concisely and accurately. 
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Experience using digital applications (i.e. Zoom, MS Teams, Events Air, various social media platforms).
  • Initiative and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges as they arise.
  • Initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a small office environment which requires a willingness to carry out a range of general duties. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and CRMs.
  • A strong commitment to improving outcomes for people with disability.

Desirable

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems / Higher Logic platform
