Compliance Analyst - Tamworth / Remote

Do you have a keen eye for detail? Are you passionate about ethical business practices? Do you have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements? If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for someone to join the team as a Compliance Analyst.

The preferred location for the role is Armidale, Tamworth, Glen Innes, Gunnedah, Inverell or Moree with hybrid working split options between working from home and within our office. However there is opportunity for this role to be fully remote from anywhere within Australia.

The key duties of the role include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing our commitment to regulatory practices
  • Administrator of a range of registers
  • Ensure ongoing compliance and reporting with the National Housing Regulator and ACNC requirements
  • Supporting policy development, review and updates as part of the Policy and Compliance committee
  • Triaging assisting with investigating complaints and developing responses to complainants
  • Regular reporting as required to management teams and the board
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to assess, monitor, and implement compliance measures to mitigate risks and ensure the Company’s adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who has the following:

  • Extensive experience or qualifications in a relevant field:
    • Administration, and Complaints investigation and/or
    • Contract management, and/or
    • Compliance reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement utilising critical thinking skills
  • Experience in a not for profit or community services background would be desirable
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Current Criminal History Check
  • Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check
