A relationship role managing and growing a portfolio of gift-in-wills supporters within an established program and organisation.
Wesley Mission is a leading, multifaceted Christian organisation dedicated to making a tangible impact in the community. With programs ranging from homeless services, child and family care, counselling, employment, training, education, and mental health services, they are committed to their vision: “Doing all the good we can because every life matters”.
This well-known community service provider offers a structured and engaging onboarding process, their culture is nurturing and people first and each team member commits to being accountable for their work whilst working collaboratively towards common goals.
Join a small team focussed on offering a memorable, personalised journey for supporters looking to leave a bequest gift to Wesley Mission.
This established fundraising program is in a phase of proactive growth. The role of Planned Giving Specialist will suit an experienced bequest fundraiser who can deliver ongoing multi-touchpoint relationship management activities to a portfolio of confirmed and prospective gift-in-will supporters.
Day to day you will speak with supporters on the phone, face to face and via text or email, depending on their preferences, nurturing relationships through to confirmed gifts and beyond.
You will report to the Individual Giving Manager, where you’ll be encouraged to bring your ideas for improvement and innovation and be supported in your proactive approach to growing your portfolio. With a structured pipeline and prospect management process, you will meet activity KPIs monthly, working towards developing meaningful relationships.
You will build awareness of the Planned Giving program through developing external relationships with solicitors, independent living villages, community, and congregational groups.
